Peter’s Dirty Dream: Historically, we have often obsessed over Paul’s dramatic conversion in Acts 9, but Peter’s conversion is equally profound - both men BELIEVE they can see but are profoundly blind until they have a supernatural encounter with the risen Christ.
Thoughts from the November Worship Gathering:
...If we have really understood the vision of Heaven coming to Earth that Jesus preached regularly - if we can really see Jesus’ imagination for the possibility of a new type of human world, then we must EITHER agree with Jesus that ALL are alive and deserve to be treated with dignity and love and empathy - OR - we must admit we disagree with Jesus.
We are going to be a church that focuses on turning living rooms into places of connection and communion and helps bring people together into communities where they can be connected and loved. We could not be more excited for what the future holds. In a future email time we will update you on how our Serving Initiatives and ‘Jesus + Beer’ events complete the picture of who we are as a church.
House Church meets every Sunday (except the 3rd one each month when we have our worship gathering)
- Sometimes we sing.
- Usually we pray and immerse ourselves in the Biblical story.
- We always share about our life and eat brunch together. While we talk, and laugh, and grow together, our lives are becoming interconnected and beautiful.
It's open to anyone who wants to come.
