CollectiveMKE is a community centered around Christian hospitality and being present to each other. We find inspiration from the surprising life, insight, acceptance and love of Jesus.

Our primary expression is weekly House Communities. These groups meet in homes to explore faith, discuss the Bible, share food, and hang out together. On the 1st Sunday of each month, all of our House Communities join together for a shared Monthly Gathering. The Monthly gathering is mostly the same as our weekly house church, but allows us all to be together.

Hospitality, often expressed through shared meals, is central to our community. We may disagree about faith, politics, social issues and more, but we can still eat together and see each other’s humanity and value. Together, we can “spur each other on to love and good deeds” - even if we understand what the looks like in different ways.

In addition to our House communities, we also host three Jesus + Beer communities that meet monthly in local bars. Jesus + Beer is about bringing people of strong faith, no faith, and some faith together to talk about Jesus and enjoy beer. Each month centers loosely around a topic. In these communities, we process spiritual trauma and compare notes about what we have learned and experienced as our faith has changed and evolved. You can read more about Jesus + Beer HERE
